Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions our customers ask most
Q.Do you use OEM parts for repairs?
A.Yes. We use OEM parts for warranty-critical components (timing chains, turbos, modules, brake pads) and premium OEM-equivalent parts from reputable manufacturers (Bosch, Brembo, Lemförder, Mahle) for other components. We discuss all options before ordering and explain the trade-offs. We never use cheap aftermarket parts we wouldn't put on our own vehicles.
Q.Do you warranty your repairs?
A.Yes. We warranty our parts and labor. OEM parts typically come with a manufacturer warranty (12 months/12,000 miles or more), and we warranty our labor on all repairs. If a part we installed fails within the warranty period, we replace it at no charge. We document all parts for warranty claims.
Q.How long will my repair take?
A.We provide a time estimate when you approve the work. Routine repairs (brakes, sensors, fluid services) typically take 2-4 hours. Major repairs (timing chain, transmission, engine) can take 2-5 days. We call you with progress updates and when your vehicle is ready. We never rush quality work.
Q.Do you call me before doing additional work?
A.Absolutely. We provide an estimate before any work begins, and we call you for approval before performing any additional work beyond the original estimate. You approve every repair and every charge — no surprises. If we find additional issues during a repair, we call you immediately.
Q.Do you road test after repairs?
A.Yes, when appropriate. After a repair, we perform a post-repair inspection and road test to verify the repair resolved the concern. For brake, suspension, transmission, and engine repairs, road testing is essential to confirm proper operation. We also clear fault codes and reset service indicators.
Q.Can I see the old parts that were replaced?
A.Yes. We keep the old parts for your inspection unless they're required for a warranty return to the parts supplier. We're happy to show you what was replaced and explain why. Transparency is important to us — we want you to understand what was done and why.
